Dr. Mavrolefteros provides evidence-based psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), personality disorders, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

Do you provide individual, couples, and family therapy?

Yes. Therapy services include individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, and family therapy based on each client's needs and goals.

Do you offer in-person and telehealth sessions?

Yes. In-person sessions are available in Astoria, Queens, NY. Secure telehealth sessions are also available throughout New York.

How long are therapy sessions?

Most therapy sessions are approximately 45–60 minutes. The frequency and length of treatment are discussed based on each person's needs.

Do you accept insurance?

Dr. Mavrolefteros works with select insurance plans. Clients are encouraged to contact the office to discuss insurance participation and available options.

What if my insurance plan is out-of-network?

If your insurance plan provides out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Documentation, including a superbill, can be provided for clients who wish to submit claims to their insurance provider.
